I've been recording my video updates for later. I think it is a better format, but sometimes I start meandering. Last week, I saw my ortho, got my annual bone density scan, and followed up with my neuro. She is trying to refer me to the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. Evidently, they are waiting on insurance preauthorization.

My arm has good days and bad days. Over time, it has changed in how it hurts. At first, it was stiff and I would have sharp pain that felt like tearing when I would move my shoulder while the arm itself would just burn all over. Then, the sharp pain and stiffness moved into my bicep and tricep. Since then, I've had days where it feels like the aching is bone-deep and other days where I have very little pain at all as long as I don't use the arm much.

If they turn down the muscle biopsy at insurance, I'm not sure of my options. I'm just tired of it all.
